A biomedical engineer by day and an artist by night...

After being dedicated to going to art school, I made a hard pivot to biomedical engineering in order to chase a stable paycheck. However, my love for art and creating never faded. In between filling sketchbooks I graduated and settled into an engineering job. In 2017, overcome with ennui from the corporate grind I tried embroidery - it became my true passion.

I spent my breaks contemplating needle and thread, quickly heading home to stitch it to life. During the pandemic, where my "normal job" became a weight around my neck, embroidery became my escape. While stitching, I couldn't be downsized or burnt out; I thrive when I'm in the hoop.
